You could spot Julia Sarr-Jamois in a crowd from a distance. The perfect Afro gives it away! That is a trademark, ofcourse the Denim jackets, the sneakers, alternating between the 5inch Stilettos and the prints and colours thrown together to make the perfect look, helps in spotting the 23 year old Model-turn-Stylist-turn-Editor for Wonderland Magazine at practically every Fashion event.
Half Sengalese-half French,Julia started her career pretty soon, dropping out of college and pursuing an internship at I.D.Magazine, and soon securing a the Editor Title at Wonderland (which I think she has been at since 2010).
She can work a casual sportswear with wide legged trouser, looking effortless chic with that hair and statement accessories!(Almost always with huge sunglasses!)

As some of you came for the last meetup, here are their details:
On one my recent photo walks around East London I came across this real quirky store called Comfort Station, and comfort it indeed is!
This quirky little store has all things small and nice, and is a jewellery heaven! All I wanted from the store was Everything!
Sadly,I did not have much time on my hands as I was with a real busy fast walking photo group so did not get a chance to browse through everything but I got in touch with the designer behind the store Amy Anderson, who makes each of these beautiful pieces in the Brick Lane Studio using sterling silver, gold, Swarovski and antique crystals,semi-precious stones and sustainably harvested woods.
It is a little visual treat in this shop and you can see the story behind each piece (bearing in mind I had 5 minutes I gathered this information..imagine the length of this post if I was there for 20).
If you ever get a chance, please take a wander down this street and tell me what you think?

I hope most of you are familiar with this Russian Beauty Ulyana Sergeenko by now, if not…Sigh….what can I say to you lot!Beter read on to catch up!
This damsel is not just a pretty face, she is the designer behind the eponymous label Ulyana Sergeenko, a photographer, a blogger and stylist, she is a woman who has her delicate hands in every pie…and every pie tastes as beautiful as the first one.
Of course one would think, being the wife of a Russian Insurance Mogul, makes things so much easier, but you can’t take the credit away from Ulyana at any point of time. Her Fall 2012 show was scheduled smack in the middle of Chanel and Armani Privé show and attracted all the top editors and celebrity in the front row, ultimately resulting in a standing ovation for this neophyte designer. Her presence in the Fashion Couture world was established right there.
Her style is very vintage late 40’s-early 50’s, with the floral bouquet print, the babushka-type headscarves, the pin-up girl demure figure complemented with full skirts and cashmere sweaters teamed with the most perfectly crafted Cloche hats. I honestly can’t seem to get enough of her. The porcelain skin complimenting the red pout and quintessential 50’s cat eye is an inspiration for many around the world. If only we could dress like that everyday and still look different!

Orange has always been a favorite fall colour, I guess all the leaves and fuzzy lights give away the amber glow.Love this spice orange bag with chunky knit and basic jeans to get the perfect weekend..walk to the markets look!
I must admit The iconic Gucci Horsebit gives it away for a very smart “inspired by Designer” bag.
Apologies for being AWOL for a while,Have had a busy couple of weeks, with new projects and deadlines mounting on my desk!
It made me doubt my own time management skills, till I met a few other fellow bloggers at the first ever London Fashion Bloggers Meetup, and was told it is alright if you happen to miss out a few posts when working full-time!
The whole ideas behind the London Fashion Bloggers Meetup was to network with other bloggers, Digital Fashion Startups, Online Boutiques and Labels and last but not the least Online Retail Businesses, and I must admit, I was very pleased with the outcome.
Getting some cupcakes from Crumbs and Doilies, with a Bon Fire Night theme, the meetup was organised at Founders Arms, with a gorgeous view of the St.Pauls. Some of us were spotting the fireworks in the sky, and other clapped on the trails of it, in between sipping some great Bloody Mary and Mulled Wines:)
On the whole, it was a great night with a good turnout, great conversations regarding the future of bloggers, the hardship of being a blogger and how to carry on doing what you do without loosing yourself to brands while maintaining originality! That, and plus the company of great people who think alike..what else could one ask for?
Have a look at the pictures.List of all the attendees is at the bottom of the page.
